Project WIP update - Alinga and Alkina (Patreon)

Okay, so first of all, this is VERY unfinished. The fur color map is a very rudimentary test one. It will look very different. Some things still need tweaking, and I need to work some more on the grooming in some areas which you probably can't see. This is the basic control stage; I'll be finetuning it tomorrow and onward.

I honestly still don't know if I like the idea of giving them fur. XD There's just something really nice about the way her face looked without it. Dunno. I'll keep working on this and see how it works for Alkina once this one is finished. Whatever I decide, the work I'm doing now won't go to waste, because I also want to make ECMajor's Cailey. ;U; AND SHE HAS FUR. Basically we'll just have to see how this comes out in the end, and then we will all decide. One thing I definitely don't like are some technical difficulties, but oh well, nothing is perfect. Either way it went better than I expected already, and that's pretty great.

Also hey.

Two million hairs only for the fur, plus around 150,000 for the hair. Times two, because two roos. Or three, if you also count Cailey. THAT'S A LOT OF HAIR

But the best thing is that rendering it requires as little as 5gb of RAM, and as much as 8gb so far. Was terrified of this. Turns out I didn't have to. Maybe. It's pretty damn slow to render tho.
