Hey, 3d artists! Are you familiar with CrazyBump? And how nice it was? And how it's basically dead? Well, mourn no more, for I have discovered AwesomeBump! It's the same thing, with a worse UI and workflow (shamefully), more options, and it's completely free and open source! I've been slowly converting some of the textures I've been always using, and I'm getting some lovely results. In the case of this piece, it's the tree bark. Just LOOK at that depth! I may not be using textures often (most of my materials are up to 100% procedural), but it's not always possible to avoid them, and this will be a fine addition to my arsenal.
