Lack of self control is usually a bad thing, but sometimes I can't help it; I've just gotta start working on a new character for no apparent reason, and that, my friends, is never a bad thing. Unless I REALLY don't have the time lol.

Okay, where do I even begin this post...

It's my birthday today, and it's actually a pretty good day (it usually isn't). I feel good. I even got this excellent gift made by two wonderful friends. ;3; Here is a direct image link, in case you don't have an IB account. EDIT: got another gift! And a direct link. ;A;

And because it's my birthday, it's my party, and I'll cry if I want to, but I have no reason for that today, and also I make the rules because my party. So I just want to announce this new char to all Patrons, partially because I'm extremely excited about how well she's coming out. ;3;

LOOK AT THIS PRECIOUS that's still very much a WIP because I only spent like a day on her so far.

She's a bat. Probably some kind of fruit bat. Yes, there are fruit bat species that don't look like flying doggos. Yes, she will have wings. No, I do not know how to pose wings that are part of the arms. Yes, I want to do it anyway. Yes, I will suffer. Yes, it will be worth it.

So anyway, I used O'ori as a starting point, obviously, and gave her Adreea's feets (still gotta remove the webbing lol). And another thing that's new!

Still needs detailing, but that's quite a step forward already. :3c

I've always wanted to make a bat, but after having stumbled upon the absolutely precious and pure and important comic called Tamberlane (I actually read the whole thing in one sitting, it's that important, aaaaaa), one of the characters, Belfry, being an entirely too cute bat, gave me that final push.

So there we go.

HOWEVER, THAT IS NOT THE END OF THE EXCITING NEWS

For this year, I'm planning a big project. Kinda nothing new, but I think it's much needed. Namely, I want to update all my existing older characters using my current skills. Not redo them from scratch, just tweak some things like bad anatomy, bland textures, etc. I've learned so much about making characters throughout 2018 that I now have the powers necessary to defeat the great evil known as The Ineptitude of 2012 tchai. I mean I don't hate them, but I know they can be so much better, so it would just be a shame not to at least try.

Another project would be... well, not really a project, but it would be great to build a GODDAMN  T H R E A D R I P P E R  WORKSTATION. At least twice the speed, and 4 times the RAM? Count me in. I'm not 100% sure on this, but it's definitely something I'm considering. Thank you for making it a realistic possibility. <3

P.S. The bat is about 95 cm tall. And she's an adult. Just so you know. This is important.
