Sheridan should know he's having a son and should know something is going on on Centauri Prime. I think JMS could have done something that caused Sheridan to forget what happened when he went to the future. Maybe this gets addressed in "The Road Home", but it's glossed over a bit too much for me in an otherwise pretty solid narrative. I don't think it's ever told exactly how human Delenn is. Sinclair looked completely Minbari. Maybe they are 70/30 or 80/20 and not exactly 50/50. In any case, my guess is their son probably looks completely human. Lyta's character has certainly come a long way, especially for how much little time we've actually spent with her relative to the other characters who've changed just as much. She's pretty tragic. Sadly, this show won't really get into her adventures with G'Kar and that psycorp stuff. It could have been a whole other spin off. She certainly has been treated pretty poorly for what she's done for everyone.

Sheridan believes he changed the future when he went to Z'ha'dum. Even if he still believes that the Drakh might one day go to Centauri Prime, he has no reason to believe that it has already happened. He probably thinks it happens 16-17 years from now.

So, about saving the mother or saving the child - I'm Jewish, and in Judaism it's taught that the Mother's life is the priority. Judaism holds that life begins at the first breath, and so the reasoning is that you work to preserve the life that already exists, and not work towards saving a life which may never exist. To the best of my knowledge, the only time the big A is brought up in the Torah (old testament) is that you are required to do so if the Mother's life is in risk - which is why a number of Jewish groups are challenging recent laws in the US on religious grounds. This wasn't intended to be preachy, simply illustrating a certain way of thinking, that I think Sheridan may have also been feeling in that scene (not implying Sheridan is Jewish, he's not)

I don’t think there’s going to be any intercourse on this extended voyage. With old G’Kar that would be the case, but I think new G’Kar Would be more interested in her enlightenment. I don’t think he’s tried to talk her out of going to war with the Psi Corps, but he would ensure that when she does, it’s for the right reasons.
