Stefan is supposed to be turned at 17 and Damon at 25, so in the flashback that's 10 y/o Stefan and 18 y/o Damon I think. Damon's actor was already 35 at this point though, so barely believable as a 25 y/o much less an 18 y/o

This is a great episode. It makes me cry every time too! Personally...I don't ship Caroline and Stefan, and I understand him wanting to wait to talk to her, and Caroline just wasn't thinking clearly enough to wait.
