Hope you had a wonderful Christmas, my friend :) That was a great reaction. I knew you'd like the Marcel backstory, but unfortunately we don't get anymore on the Brotherhood of the Damned. It was a one time thing, to flesh out the "locked in the compound" storyline and to add more layers to Marcel's character. I agree, Marcel is by far the best leader. I love Klaus and I love Elijah- but they are too focused on each other, Rebekah and Hope, too concerened about the safety of their family. Everyone else is expandable and will probably end up as cannon fodder. So yeah, definitely not the best and most reliable leaders :D I loved the whole chambre de Chasse storyline. It further illustrated how clever Finn is. He is like a dog with a bone. And you could see the panic in Klaus' eyes, because Finn came soooo very close to finding out about Hope. And Elijah, noble, self-sacrificng Elijah, knew that there was only one way to redirect Finn's attention and to get out of this situation. And that was to confess the one thing he was so afraid of for Klaus to find out, because like he said, Klaus is not one to simply forgive and forget. Klaus loved Tatja and Klaus thought that it was their mother who killed her. But still- to save Hope, to protect the secret- ELijah did what he had to do and confessed his darkest secret to Klaus. And Klaus-he, who usually flies off the handle by the slightest incovenience or misstep- immediately realised what ELijah was doing, the sacrifice he was making to keep Hope safe and he curbed his temper, he let go off the pain this revelation must have caused him and he forgave Elijah. See, this is growth right there! This episode did A LOT of character building for Marcel, Finn and Klaus and ELijah and I love that! But I am also very happy that we are done with the "locked in the Compound" storyline :D

This is a great episode!! Finn is so so smart - too smart lol. Would love to see a binge watch!! We could do live binges and chat at the same time!? Jackson is so sweet and his grandma seems to be one sassy lady! Kol and Davina - adorable. It was fun seeing Marcel's backstory of his time in WWI, how he met Joe. I wonder if they were based off of a real company in WWI. I wish you could binge react too lol, but I look forward to your next reaction!

I do love the idea of a live reaction/ watch-along (or whatever it's called in English) but I feel like him reading our comments while watching the show might be a little too distracting. Maybe if we let him watch in peace and only after he's finished the episode we start commenting. So we just watch it together silently (well, we are silent. He'd still be allowed to talk lol ) and then after the episode we discuss :D But I think this might be a bit much. He's already been doing the live character rankings. He barely has any time as it is, poor guy 🙈😅
