So glad you finally got to watch this episode. We did warn you that you would want to watch the finale too lol. The Francesca reveal is so good and unexpected. Absolutely one of the best episodes this season, maybe even in the whole show. I don't blame you liking the originals now more than TVD. Personally my favorite seasons of TVD are 2 and 3, which are the ones that the Originals are introduced and main characters in. Idk if I like Originals more than TVD overall, but I like it more than the remaining seasons of TVD

Haha yeah I can't imagine not being able to just watch those last two episodes back to back. That's when sticking to the watching order of TVD/TO gets really hard lol. I personally prefer TO over TVD but I absolutely LOVE seasons 2 and 3 of TVD. Those two seasons were by far the strongest of The VampireDiaries. But like you said, it's mainly because of the focus on The Originals family. That's what makes those two seasons so great. It went downhill after they left the show. My personal favourite season of the whole TVDU is season 3 of The Originals. It's just EPIC. Especially the last episode of that season. It might even be my favorite episode of any TV show. And I'm really interested and curious to see which show Clint will ultimately prefer and which seasons he'll like and dislike. I personally think both shows have their strengths and their weakness (like any show really). And like Kathrine said "it's okay to love them both"😁

I've been anxiously waiting for you to get here trying not to hype up the final episodes because I wanted you to discover the awesomeness that this episode is! And we got to see the cross!!!! I'm so so excited for your next reaction - if you hadn't just been sick I would have totally been the devil on your shoulder encouraging you to pull a sickie so you could watch the last two episodes of TVD and TO. hehehehehe I'm so excited! *anxiously waits for the weekend*
