This episode was so good! Nadia's death brought tears to my eyes too. I thought she was a great character, and vampire. She was a good person and she only did what she did for Katherine. It's a shame that Katherine realized too late how precious her daughter was, and she wasted all that time just focusing on Stefan. I was shocked by Katherine's death also - I wasn't expecting her to be dragged off into the darkness. Nina is such a talented actress. Even her pretending to be Elena and immediately switching to Katherine just the tone of voice and expressions you could tell she was Katherine - even in previous episodes idk how Nina did it but it was fantastic acting. Poor Matt, him and Nadia I think would have been a great and happy couple. Although Katherine kind of having the hots for Matty Blue Blue would have been weird haha!

I had planned to start watching TO on the stroke of midnight to properly ring in my birthday. But I had 20 minutes to kill so I decided to just continue with this TVD reaction until it was time, but then the whole Nadia death scene happened and I was a sobbing mess and waaaay too invested into the episode at this point to simply just stop. Midnight came and went and I just kept watching, lol. WHo would have thought- definitely not me. But this episode was a banger! My God, it was soooo good and emotional. And Kathrine Pierce...what a character. And what an exit! Alright but NOW onto The Originals! See you there :)
