This is one of my favorite season openers! I just love how it starts off slow and just brings you back into the magic and sisterhood. And yesss they all look amazing this season. So the show lost copyrights to most of it's music including the theme song, so on streaming platforms they had a different one, but in the last couple years they remastered all seasons to HD and got the music rights back, but for now the remastered is only on the blu rays and not streaming apps idk why. My dream job would be special effects makeup on movies\tv too! I love doing makeup for Halloween and stuff it's so fun. I'm glad you enjoyed this episode and I can't wait for more! Season 2 is a fun one

Glad to see you have started Season 2 Mega :) As Amanda P said its just because the copyright/licencing to the music has been lost or never gained. The original intro and soundtrack has been replaced on the streaming versions due to CBS not having the license for the music on streaming platforms as they were never around when it was airing and they aren't prepared to pay up for the music rights again. They do however have the rights for the physical media side of things still so you will find that the old DVDs and thus the Remastered Blurays have the original intro and soundtrack as if you notice for example the funeral song for Mark in 1x04 will be different from the Bluray vs Streaming and I much prefer the original on the Blurays myself. Unfortunately you will find that this is the case for a lot of the older shows. Alias had the music replaced once it was on streaming, Queer as Folk US is only on DVD currently but is on Streaming platforms as 1080p HD but again all the music has been replaced and it's not the same at all so I prefer to stick to my DVDs because of it and Quantum Leap is another one where the streaming versions have different music but thankfully there are Blurays out with the original soundtrack restored. So at the end of the day if you are looking for older shows to watch I would say just to be on the safe side go for the DVD/Bluray version over the Web Streaming version unless you have no other choice. I much prefer physical media to digital versions and I know physical media will die off eventually but I'm gonna go down with it fighting. 😂 Due to the music issues that's why Amanda and myself provided you and other reactors the Bluray versions of the Remasters to watch whenever possible. 😊
