From what I understood, the Talia/Susan LOVE story was too hot for the network so they made them close friends and implied that they were also romantically involved. AVOIDING SPOILERS I can just say that I love seeing what you've gotten right. You even called the, Talia+Susan's relationship back in season 1 as a joke then it came true! Also cool seeing what you've gotten wrong, or close, because the show wasn't written to "Subvert your expectations" like they are today but it was written to surprise, delight, entertain and keeps you on your toes. 👍

FYI I know you are a Star Trek fan. The actress who plays Lyta was Dr. Crusher's stunt double, and occasionally appeared in 90's Trek as an extra. (I believe both TNG and DS9)
