you missed the Observer. he was getting off the elevator just as the dude was getting on. he pops up randomly in episodes, and it's always blink and you'll miss it. I'm so happy you're so into the show!

The thing about this show is that there isn't really a "filler" episode, though it may seem like it. If all these cases are part of The Pattern then they all mean something to the bigger picture.
