Chani Elkin

It's such a good episode! Christian Kane, who plays Eliot, is an actual country artist. Look up his music on Youtube - my top 3 songs of his are: "More Than I Deserve", "The House Rules", and "Let Me Go". They play with it in the episode as his die-hard fans (like me) are called "Kaniacs". So Christian Kane = Kenneth Crane. The shirts are probably Kaniac shirts. He also went personal for his acting on this episode. Before Leverage, he accepted a deal & was signed as an artist in Nashville to a music label. And just like Alona Tal's character Kay Lynn in this episode, the label screwed him over. They stole his music & the money owed to him. So Christian Kane knows exactly what that feels like. Generally, a way is found to sing on his acting. He sang on "Angel", he sang here obviously, & Dean Devlin (who he works with a lot) has had him sing on both "The Librarians" and "Almost Paradise". Also, I can't afford to this year - but did you know that there's a convention for fans? Electric Con (Dean Devlin's company is Electric Entertainment) is for fans of a bunch of different shows, although as Christian says "Are we sure it isn't Kane Con?" (Also, I adore Parker's 'duck themed Bjork'. And Hardison was totally calling Eliot 'baby') The announcement for that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar_zxfAw-B8

This is probably a top 10 for me, my top 3 I think are all season finales, but not sure. I'd heard Christian Kane sing on Angel so I knew he was gonna be great, the bit where he was running away from teenage girls was fun. Parker getting to be extra weird was a bonus. So many things to like about this episode.
