I don't think Hayley is a bad mom for being there for the Mikaelsons. She spends most of her time off screen with her daughter, but onscreen it makes sense for her to get involved. She is a part of the Mikaelson family now. I also disagree that she doesn't love Jackson, but obviously it's not as passionate as her feelings for Elijah

I didn't expect you to immediately drop two The Originals reactions. That's so awesome! Thank you!!! And I'm also very pleased that you enjoy the honey and sea salt covered nuts. They are my dad's favorites and my good friend from the US loves them, too. She always tells me to get her some bags of her "second favorite nuts" (her favorite ones being...well... :D ). So those nuts really seem to be a crowd pleaser :D I really like the Thanksgiving Dinner episode (3x7). It just wouldn't be a proper Mikaelson dinner without some bloodshed and chaos. I don't know what it says about me, but I would like nothing more than to attend one of their little Soirées. Haha yeah Rebekah getting undaggered for like two scenes only to get daggered again is so funny. But I guess that was the only way to keep her character in the show without the actress having to be on set too much (cause she really didn't want to leave her baby alone for too long. Better mother than Hayley lol ). And the other actress had another work commitment, that's why they killed this body off. I don't really have much to say about 3x8. It's kind of a filler episode to resolve some of the previous storylines and set up some new ones. I like it, but it's definitely not my favorite. Okay, wait, I DO have one thing to say about this episode. Elijah was kicking ass and he was in complete control of the situation before Hayley felt the need to swoop in and play hero. That's what distracted him and that's why Marcel managed to get a dagger in him. I rolled my eyes so hard lol. Hayley is realy annoying me this season. I mean, I kind of get it. She wants to protect them. But usually she just ends up making everything worse. And also they are 1000 years old. They are THE original vampires. They don't need her fighting their battles. She should look after Hope and make sure that she is safe. Okay, enough about Hayley. I am really looking forward to next episode. I quite like that one. It's kind of one of those feel-good episodes that just make you all warm and fuzzy inside but also...not. You will see what I mean :D

I do get why she's doing what she's doing. They are part of her family. And she loves them. Even Klaus (kind of a love-hate relationship.). So of course she wants to help them and protect them. But it's still annoying. Especially since they don't really need her help (most of the times). And sometimes, like in that last episode, she just makes everything worse when she's trying to help.
