This week on Between You And Me, Sanja and Paul begin their look at Marillion's 1997 album, This Strange Engine. While containing classics including Man Of A Thousand Faces, Estonia and the title track, suffice to say... Paul's feelings around this one are complicated, to say the least. Coupled to certain news about the next Marillion release, things get all a bit intense...

This felt like listening to a therapy session! Paul, I really enjoyed hearing your feelings and hearing you analyse your baggage surrounding the album - it felt quite raw but very real and human to hear you get so passionate about it. Thank you for sharing this intensity with us. (Also lol, I have IBS as a result of Pushing Emotions And Experiences Down Into My Feet, I FEEL you Paul) Also tbf re: echochambers, I feel like most echochambers are actually just...there's a right and a wrong - I'm glad you highlighted that Sanja. Like, I'll happily exist in my echochamber where human rights aren't a debatable topic but where we can disagree on Marillion opinions haha.
