This is it! Our inaugural bonus BYAMPOD. I know a fair few of you on here now are from the podcast, so rest assured we're going to reward your generosity with at least a couple of bonus eps a month (hernia operation recoveries notwithstanding). 

It starts here, with a more laid-back, freewheeling, sort of chat than we'd do on the main pod (yes: even more so!), talking about our first Marillion gigs, how approachable various band members seem to be - and more!

I've seen The Wurzles live too! I saw them when I was about 10 at a music festival and the main singer stripped off. Somewhere there's video footage of my stepmum and I losing our shit as he strips off behind us. Also it's always good hearing about people visiting Wolverhampton - it's a bit Crimewatchey but the Civic is so good for gigs (I assume you were at the Civic lmao).

My other half loves Stillmarillion despite really not liking the Fish era albums. She really is not keen on Fish's voice and prefers Martin's performances to the original albums. In respect of seeing them overseas, I went to the Lisbon weekend and had a good time but the gigs felt much the same as the Leicester MW gigs. Same goes for a tour gig we saw them play on a weekend break in Berlin. We're likely to go to the Sweden MW next year but really as an excuse to go to a new country.
