While Nymphia may have relatively few followers among mortals (as her existence to them was largely unknown), the deity is known amongst several goddesses from many realms of existence, along with their immortal acolytes. It may be years or centuries between visits, but eventually, a goddess would arrive in Nymphia's domain, yearning for the intimacy that she offers freely. In return, many of these goddesses offer blessings that Nymphia can call upon should the need or desire arise. An occasion to call in a favor or two came upon the creation of her small pockets of space from which mortal beings and gods could visit. Nymphia, while mighty, was not nearly as well versed in protecting realms as some of her visitors, so she called upon them to request their aid in protecting these small dimensions, keeping out any that would bring harm to them. Nymphia offered herself freely to the goddesses, along with open access to these dimensions, promising the dwellers within were well versed in her methods of intimacy. The same offer was extended to the goddess's chosen defenders, the ones who would personally stand guard over these tiny realms. The proposal was accepted eagerly by those she approached. The promise of having Nymphia available to them alone was more than worthwhile.
