Hello everyone!

I'm going to keep the campaigne turned off until further notice! Existing patrons won't be charged until then, so you can stick around to see "The Goo" updates for free!

Unfortunately it's giving me more trouble than expected and I can't in good conscience charge you again while I'm fumbling through programs and setting up a new PC, so I'll keep it turned off and use the money you gave me in the previous months.

The same rules apply like last time:

- existing patrons won't be charged

- new patrons will be charged normally

- no polls or Tier4 commissions

- work and updates on "The Goo" will continue normally

In January I also did some heavy research on putting together a new workstation PC and I got it to run yesterday (Jan, 30th)!

The focus was on a more powerful CPU, silent fans and option to install more than 16GB of RAM. The higher RAM will allow me to work with bigger files and have several open at once!

I'm also going to attempt rendering the project with this new CPU as soon as I have all the needed Software installed.

Since I'm mentioning upgrades - I also bought a "Wacom Intuos Pro Large" quite a while back and actually wouldn't go back to my old "Bamboo Fun". I switched back and forth between them over the course of a couple of days and the new one definitely feels more natural. I thought the bigger active drawing area of the Intuos would wear me out, but it's actually more comfortable to be able to make longer brush strokes. The pen also feels softer and the tablet has a higher resolution and more pen pressure levels!

For the future I'm looking into getting TV-Paint - some of you might know that the licence for this particular program is quite expensive, but you gotta put your money where your moth is, so I'm saving up for the option to buy this in the future.
