The Great Coloring Callout (Patreon)

When Good Boy first moved into the neighborhood, he thought for sure that he would be the only kid his age still in diapers. On top of that, he made a mess of things on his first day of school last year and had been in daycare ever since. As far as he was concerned, his days would be spent playing alone in his playpen for the foreseeable future. However, one spring day during his afternoon stroller ride, the liger cub met a very special pup.

It was a warm spring day as Good Boy kicked his feet paws happily in his stroller. From a distance, he saw a pup about his age holding his father's paw as they walked along on the sidewalk. As they began to get closer, Good Boy noticed something interesting about the young Labrador. Sporting a bright red bandana and wearing a pair of shortalls, the pup waddled along next to his father as he looked at the ground seemingly embarrassed. When the two came within a few feet of Good Boy and his parents, he noticed that the lab's shortalls were poofier than they should have been. They looked similar to Good Boy's! He then heard a familiar sound. It was crinkling! As the two labs past the liger family, Good Boy could not contain his excitement. Bouncing up and down in his stroller he yelled out from behind his pacifier, "That big kid wears diapers just like me!" The two families stopped, turned around, chuckled, and began to introduce themselves. As the parents talked, the young lab walked up to the stroller. Twisting his little velcro shoes bashfully, he introduced himself to the infantile liger, "Hi... uh... my... my name's JJ. Do you really wear diapers like me too?" After that day JJ and Good Boy became buddies.

As spring turned into summer, the two boys were constantly being set up for play-dates by their parents. One was always at the other's house. The two late bloomers played happily, not being judged by the other for their babyish habits. Over the summer though, JJ's dad attempted to finally potty train the lab. Surprisingly, JJ actually did a good job avoiding accidents for his first few weeks, unlike Good Boy who had no desire to train whatsoever. Then, one day while coloring at JJ's house, his father decided to check on the two. He quickly realized that at least one of the boys needed a change. When asked which one it was, JJ was swift to point out that he was dry and was finally a big pup. He quickly called out Good Boy, who was sitting silently for obvious reasons. Needing a change, the liger was led inside as the happy pup followed behind his father and Good Boy. JJ was so proud and excited as he helped bring his father a fresh diaper from Good Boy's bag. In fact, he was so proud that he didn't even notice he too, now needed a change. Laying on the changing table, Good Boy of course was quick to call out the pup's accident, just as JJ had done to him earlier. After a moment of silence, the two just laughed and agreed that potty training was stupid. Once changed the pup and the liger went back to happily coloring. Both in fresh diapers just like a pair of toddlers.
