Crafted by the lands finest stonemasons, architects, mages, designers, and glaziers, the throne room of the Empire of Crystallized Ash was created not only to Emperor Aldwyn, but also to honor the Empire's Goddess, Lumnina. It is here that Aldwyn, and sometimes Thellka, sit and address the numerous concerns and audiences of farmers, soldiers, politicians, trade organizers, and even criminals.

Under the statues of Lumnina two principles, Justice and Honor, Aldwyn has seen the rise and fall of numerous enemies. Yet, never once has the emperor's throne room been in danger of being overrun. Some attribute this to the grace of Lumnina, others to the power, respect, and fear Aldwyn has cultivated through his time as an emperor. 

There are just as many who speculate that Crown Prince Tainn isn't ready to shoulder the responsibility of the chair, and the expectations that come with it. Even less would dare think that Princess Quinn would make a better ruler.

That said, none need be concerned for now. Though aged and sun of his time slowly begins to set, the Emperor still sits upon his throne with his empress, ready to defend the empire until the very last man.
