Haengaram, The City of Jokllim (Patreon)

Greetings patrons,

Taken from chapters 39-40, the city of Jokllim would be laid to siege by the forces of Xetia. Fireballs would run through the sky while smoke and gunpowder would fall upon the city like rain. However, the city would remain as Eric Drakclaw lay the invading forces down into the empire's sea beds.

A city close to the sea, Jokllim prides itself on its sea-faring trade, gathering supplies from its northernmost territories. Shipped and carried out through a complex network of routes through the empire, Jokllim is one of the richest cities in the empire. It is this advantage which the invading forces wished take advantage of as securing Jokllim would have gained them a firm foothold in the lands of Haengaram.

In addition to its steep economical might, Jokllim also boasts the highest military presence in Haengaram outside the Ynro Capital. Its festivals range far and wide to pay honor, praise and worship to Lumnina for the successes in its righteous cause. Fanfare and exotic flowers run through the city as children and parents behold the might of the empire marching through its cut and trimmed walls.

As the one in charge of leading the nation, a general from the military appointed by the emperor is takes with the daily administrative, executive, and disciplinary actions of the city. Without a current general to lead it, following the invasion attempt, Jokllim barely remains standing in the aftermath against the forces of Xetia.
