After nearly a month, we've finished the scene and it was fun to work in with Nathyoo. Also, worry not for the scene of Liara vs the mages. She is there as well, having her fun at toying with their feeble attempts at the mystic arts. That will be a part of a future roadmap scene. I hope I can get Nathyoo to do it again.
