Let's start this shoot with Gabrielle from May 2015 with some Cinestill 800t.

This was in fact the 2nd part of the shoot where we went outside because of course I has some cinestill to shoot. I think this was the first time I used this film, not sure, but one of the first times for sure. I fell in love instantly, not with Gabrielle but the film, although Gabrielle is something else. I was so in love with the cinematic tones and look of this film. We were downtown at night so it was the perfect setting.

In the preview I said that this session was the most pro fashion shoot I ever did, that is true. It was my only shoot ever where we planned this with a friend of mine, Nathalie which was my assistant on that day. We also had a make-up artist/hair dresser and also a stylist who brought different looks. (love that coat and that red dress) So yeah, a first (and last) full team with me.

It was great really, however I realized how much planning it took and also made me aware of the fact that this wasn't what I wanted out of photography. The fashion world did not interest me really, I wanted real, I didn't want to be part of the fake glamour, even though I knew I could kick some ass and produce some beautiful images.

That said, this part was the best for me, the cinematic vibes tide everything together. Gabrielle was such a pro, this was a long shoot and she posed like a champ all the way through the end.

Make sure you don't change that channel to see the inside part of this shoot, thanks for reading.
