This is another cyber-shot from the P series I tested out a few days ago.

This one is way more plasticky then the P100 I reviewed first, a cheaper but similar version at 4.1MP. Got this for 15$!

No manual mode unfortunately. It made it really hard to freeze movement on this overcast rainy day. But we still got range focusing in here, so that's a win in my book.

However for landscape you shouldn't run into any problems. I have seen slower cameras, the cyber-shots are quite responsive for their time.

When my wife drives I can take photos from the passenger seat!

I made only little adjustments on the b&w images, shot these JPEG monochrome from the camera styles.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm in love with the treatment of these photos. They all say CCD renders the best colors, fuck that I'm shooting b&w!

Sony knew their shit even back then, these cyber-shots are excellent cameras. Never would have though that I could have made photos like this on a 4.1MP camera.

This camera is a win too. Although I would use the P100 over this one because of the better build quality, larger screen (barely) and of course the manual controls which for me is everything.

If your parents have one of these digicams take it for a spin, you could be pleasantly surprised, I really enjoy shooting these, it's challenging and refreshing, + you won't break the bank developing and buying film :)

Part II coming soon.
