Hey people, I felt like doing a little blog post with this set, I just love the results I told myself let's share the entire roll. Make sure you scroll to the end here to see some extra photos I took outside of this shoot if you are interested.

For those that don't know, even though I talked about this camera here before, the Minolta P's is a compact camera with panorama function that was sold mainly to amateur photographers in Japan. It was introduced by the Japanese company in the early 1990s. The camera was also sold in the market under the name “Minolta Riva Panorama” and “Minolta Freedom Vista“.

It actually crops in the 35mm frame to create the impression of panorama, this is not an actual panoramic camera like the x-pan. It's basically a fun point and shoot, got it for real cheap last year and I always love the results, anyway, enough about the camera.

I left the black bars here because I dig it, but you can actually crop them if you don't.

There is a button for flash off on top that you have to hold while taking the photo, that doesn't always work, case and point:

Here it is again without flash and a little reflection of yours truly included:

Ohh before I forget, I shot expired Konica VX200 film here, a first for me.

Flash on again here, was not intentional but still interesting:

Here I tried one photo without flash and another flash on just because I was curious:

Like I was saying in a previous post I'm embracing the look of full on flash lately, it's fun to experiment and it kicks in that 80-90s nostalgia in me.

That one just blinded her though, sadly:

I also dig that flash reflection in the window:

I turned the camera sideways for this shot, not the best format here but interesting nonetheless:

And this next one might be my favorite from the entire shoot, very cinematic mixing the lamp light and natural light, also love how the reflection turned out and the fact that we don't see nudity in it:

To conclude the shoot, right before I left as I was on my way out, I grabbed a photo of Gab's lingerie spread out on the bathroom floor, with and without flash:

Now for the extra shots I took on this roll that I started before the shoot.

I took it with me while we went to le Marché aux Puces St-Eustache, if you know, you know:

It's usually better in the summer since it's happening all outside, in the winter it's only the interior stores, which suck, unless you want shitty clothes.

Embraced the flash again, this one hits the spot for me, nostalgia kicking in:

You can say it's almost a liminal space, but something is missing.

However this next one, if you don't look at the left where there's the x-box and Wii console boxes you can almost believe it was taken in the 90s, almost:

This next one was taken while I was downtown heading for the shoot with Gab:

And this one right after the shoot:

I still had some shots left in there, counter said 24 but for some reason it went to almost 30 frames.

For this I tried before on another camera and it came out too dark:

It still came out too dark, I want to create an eerie photo with flash on of this forest I pass by while walking my dog, I will try again in the future that's for sure until I get it right.

Speaking of my dog Snow:

These next ones are at an amusement place for kids, the first one with flash came out like shit, but I like the one without the flash which I took a long exposure with the camera steady on the table:

Next two are urban shots in the mile end area in Montreal:

To conclude, this last one from inside the car through the roof, there was this black mannequin torso in the window which I found interesting, but it's very small in the frame:

And this was the full roll! Eclectic rolls like this are the best, you never know what you're gonna get!

Hope you made it till the end and enjoyed this little story, thanks for reading and have a great afternoon!
