Stories: Valentine's day (Patreon)

Let's start by wishing yall a very nice Valentine's day with your better half !

I felt like a Valentine's day themed shoot I did for Sokoloff Lingerie back in 2015 would be a nice story to share. Probably not supposed to share these photos but fuck it, no harm in showing a few here, it's been 7 years. It's most probably the only Valentine shoot I ever did, so here comes the cheese!

This was a mix of a couple's shoot mixed with a few shots of her, we were pretending like he was taking the photos, sort of. 

This was a real couple, at the time, so the chemistry was real. 

We wanted to feel like we were documenting their every day lives like it was all butterflies and flowers, mind you this was before covid, before we were stuck in lockdown wanting to tear each other apart ;)

This was a paid shoot btw.

I also shot some Kodak Portra 800 here, using the Pentax67ii:

And more digital, using the D700 at the time.

At the same time they were making a promo video, and during that time I was shooting some BTS on film, however I don't remember what film it was, I know it was expired by the look of it and I know I was probably using the Canonet.

Looking back I think I like this roll more than all the rest, it's mysterious and time less.
