Here's the full set of Kodak Tri-x 400 this time, taken with the Pentax67ii.

I really loved this set back then, however looking back at it now I can't stand the retouching, it's way too much for my taste these days, I feel so bad removing so much skin, like what was I thinking.

Good thing times are changing.

I'm not saying retouching is all bad, I still do it but more subtly because sometimes my lighting can render some traits too harsh, so I tone it down. Also I can tone down dark circles under their eyes, pimples, mostly unwanted stuff passing by.  I would never change shapes or silhouettes, that's a no no.

Skin smoothing or heavy skin retouching is out of the question. I guess there's still a place for it, but most of the time it's just bad for the girls looking at these photos. Unrealistic images can be very bad for mental health. Makes me think of all the facetune apps and filters out there...

Damn I digress here, didn't want to go there lol, well I guess I did. If you want to retouch you have the right to do it, just try to do it well then, when you can't recognize the model anymore that means you went too far ;)

I wanted to show you how I would do the retouching today on these pics, but sadly I don't have the originals anymore, still have the negatives somewhere in shoeboxes though, but I will do the exercise on some digital images that are as bad shortly.
