Happy New Years everyone! Here to do my annual vibe check on the comings and goings of the channel. Let's start off by recapping 2023: it was a turbulent year with my personal life and that definitely impacted the overall output and videos throughout the year. Hey, life happens but I'm at a much better place now. I'm looking towards 2024 with optimism.

That being said, 2023 wasn't a failure by any means. We had some excellent projects completed such as Drawn Together and Balto. Those videos definitely opened my eyes with realizing how much fun longform and quality driven projects can be. If anything, that leads to my first goal for 2024: higher quality longform videos. Ya know, projects with a definitive objective with explaining a story or unraveling a mystery. Expect a LOT more of those kinds of vids this coming year! My Land Before Time video this month should be a good step in the right direction on that front.

Next, I've decided to upload less frequently on my main channel. I still want to upload at least twice a week and also keep myself available to chat about topical subjects when they arise but for the most part, I want to focus on the larger projects of the channel. More quality, more consistency, more focus!

Next, I aim to be more active with Twitch streams and with chatting here on Patreon and by proxy my Discord server. I plan on overhauling both to give it a new coat of paint and plan to be much more present with chatting with supporters!

Speaking of being more active, I have my 3 other channels: Saber64, Saber Highlights and Sabersteve. All serve their own respective purpose and allow me to cover more vids but without flooding my main channel. They should be more active in 2024 so feel free to subscribe to them if you'd like!

And finally, the return of reanimated projects will be happening in 2024. I plan on hosting 2 projects with my reanimation team to bring an episode of Bluey and of Over the Garden Wall to life in 2024. Super excited for both of those and can't wait to get them off the ground!

That is it for this years "What to Expect" and I just want to thank you all for your support and viewership. It's been over 7 years since I have done YouTube professionally and I still am blown away by the support you all give to me, my team and our projects. Thank you so much and have an excellent new year!
