Hey all, first things first, I want to give a great big thank you to everyone who has subscribed to the channel and continues their subscriptions. A big welcome to all new subscribers. Thank you so much for joining the page, and finding an interest in my writing. It means so much to me, and I hope I can continue to keep you all interested moving forward.

Now, I'm going to get serious right now. Life has taken a rough turn for my husband and I. His job reduced his pay and took away his insurance due to their own financial issue. My husband, a 50 year old man who has owned his own restaurant for 8 years and worked as a manager in several places like Chipotle and more, is now working a job that pays him $18/hr without benefits. On top of this, this last sunder on Jan. 29th I was let go from my job at Starbucks, having accidentally left over $200 in one of the unlocked drop boxes when I closed, violating the money safety regulations. So now I have gone from a job that paid $19/hr with benefits, I am sitting with nothing. This is extremely scary as I have over $1,000 in bills I have to pay every month, and everything starts getting charged the first of the month. I am desperately looking for a job, and have spent a majority of my day submitting applications for anything and everything I can.

These last few years have been extremely hard for us, having lost his mother, my step father, our uncles, my grandmother, my best friend, and as of today have lost yet another friend, and another one of my husband's uncles. In Jan 2023 we also lost our restaurant and been looking for jobs that will help us survive through life. We hope that things will change for the better soon.

These are several of the reasons I have not been so active in my posting of my stories.

Now, I am NOT saying that I am closing down. I am NOT saying that I am no longer going to be writing. I am NOT saying that I am taking a long break.

I am simply saying thank you for traveling this journey with me. I am NOT giving up. WE are NOT giving up. We will continue to push forward, and I will continue to write. Though my postings may be infrequent, I am still writing and working to create stories you all hopefully enjoy. I am also growing more motivated to work on my book and get it finished. This is why you may see more postings of the book more often, which is still available to all subscribers of the Fat Daddy tier.
