Collector's Edition: The Degrassi Junior High Yearbook (1987/88) (Patreon)

Did you know this about the original Degrassi cast? 

Back in the early days of Degrassi Junior High, the young actors put together a  Degrassi yearbook for the real Degrassi Kids! 📸

It was filled with collages of photos taken on set, memories of winning an Emmy and silly little jokes like re-writing the lyrics to the Degrassi theme song! 

But probably the coolest part about the yearbook were the pages about each actor! The real Degrassi kids shared their nicknames for each other, their personal pet peeves and what they hoped to be when they grew up! 

You'll notice they each included their phone numbers, too. This was so they could keep in touch over the summer, since y'know, cell phones weren't a thing quite yet! 🤳 

If you listened to the podcast this week, you know I got this yearbook from Craig Driscoll (Rick Munro) after visiting him in San Diego, California. ☀️

Later, I brought it with me to a Degrassi event where it was signed by Stefan Brogren (Snake), Chrissa Erodotou (Diana), Arlene Lott (Nancy) and Nicole Stoffman (Stephanie Kaye)!! 

Unfortunately, there was a never a Degrassi yearbook made publicly available for the fans, but I think it would've been a really cute idea! Don't you?
