Here’s a bit of nerdery for you: Tom Melissis, the actor who plays Perino, was a regular on one of my favorite shows of all time, the Chicago set but Toronto shot Due South. Melissis joined the series as Detective Dewey in season 2. The series was about a Canadian Mountie, Benton Fraser, who moved to Chicago to team up with a cynical Italian American Detective named Ray Vecchio. But what makes this even more Degrassi, was that during the show’s run, Ray’s sister Francesca was played by Ramona Milano, AKA Degrassi’ Best Mom, Audra Torres.

You are an absolute pro at this! I used to do a little fun game on tiktok called Six Degree's of Degrassi. Where I'd take a celerity and play the "six degrees of separation" game to connect them to Degrassi. The ones I did were silly & easy, but you are truly a pro at knowing even the smallest of roles!
