Volume 3.5 Chapter 41:
"Thanks," Keith held the axe in one hand. And the dwarves looked at him strangely! That's a two-handed axe!
How are you holding it in one hand?!
"Hah!" Keith swung the axe with blinding speed, slicing four golems in two.
"This feels better," Keith laughed, "Let me get another one." With two axes, he could clear the room faster!
"Here," Skar handed Keith a hammer this time. It was the same size as the axe. Keith turned to the golems,
"Today is not your day,"
Keith swung the two giant weapons, blowing up the golems left and right. Skar and the dwarves were stunned. That was not supposed to happen!
How strong is this kid?!
The battle only lasted for a moment. But the victor was decided. Keith stood in front of the rubble.
"That was a workout," Keith wiped the sweat off his forehead. There were a lot of golems.
"..." The dwarves were speechless. That was a workout for you? Do you know how much we had to struggle?! They were fighting for their life while he thought this was a workout!
"How are the injuries?" Keith quickly turned to the dwarves. He noticed there were a few on the ground. They seemed to have lost a lot of blood.
"Here, you can use this," Keith took out some medicine from his storage. But Skar waved his hand,
"It's fine. We don't have to owe a human,"
That caused Keith to frown, "You guys don't owe me anything. I'm giving it to you because I want to," Keith shoved the medicine into Skar's hand.
"Huh?"
"Dalen is my friend. And since he needed my assistance, I will help him. So don't pull this crap of a human and dwarves. We're all living. Race doesn't matter,"
"..." The dwarves were silent when they heard that. Keith asked again, "How many are injured?"
"Some have a few broken bones." Skar and the dwarves didn't talk back to Keith as they showed them the injured dwarves. Like that, Keith continued to tend to their wounds. It didn't take long before he bandaged them all up.
"Where is all your stuff?" Dalen said he asked them to get materials. But they didn't have anything.
"We couldn't carry it. We have to leave it in the dungeon. The golems destroyed the cart's wheel." They couldn't bring the materials with them. There were too many golems attacking them.
"Give me a second," Keith headed in the direction the dwarves pointed. He returned after a few seconds.
"Let's go," Keith stated as they needed to leave the dungeon. He had a dwarf on his back as he walked. When they exited, Keith was surprised.
"You're still here?!" Keith stared at the horse that was there. He thought it would leave after helping him out.
"Ngeh!" The horse gave a slight snort as it got close to Keith.
"Thanks," Keith turned to the dwarves, "We can rest here,"
Like that, everyone rested near the dungeon. After a few minutes, Dalen arrived.
"Boss!"
Dalen looked at the dwarves, "How is everyone?"
"All of us are alive. But there are a few of us injured," Skar stated.
Dalen sighed in relief. There was no one dead.
"Thank goodness. Quickly bring the injured to the healers." He had brought some healers and adventurers with him. The injured were treated by the healer as they returned to the city.
As they got close to the city,
"Negh!" The horse snorted.
"Keith, what's wrong with the horse?" Dalen questioned.
"Oh, it doesn't like to enter the city. He's a wild animal," Keith got off the horse,
"Thank you for everything,"
"Ngeh!" The horse didn't look at them any longer as it dashed away. And like that, the group entered the city. The injured dwarves were sent to the hospitals for their wounds to heal properly.
The rest returned to Iron Hilde.
"Keith, thank you so much for saving my men," Dalen was about to bow. But Keith quickly stopped him,
"Dalen, you don't need to do that. I said before, we're friends. And friends help each other out,"
Keith added, "Also, where do you want your stuff to be?"
"Hmm?"
"I also brought back all the resources Skar and the others obtained."
"Huh? You have all of it as well?!" Dalen blinked his eyes when he heard that. He didn't think he would bring that back as well!
"Yep, yep. I have it all in my storage,"
"Let's go to the warehouse!" Keith nodded as Dalen brought him to the warehouse. There, Keith brought out everything the dwarves obtained from the dungeon!
There were rows of rocks and ore on the ground,
"How large is your storage ring?" Dalen questioned.
"Big enough?" Keith questioned. He couldn't remember it.
After he shoved a stove and a refrigerator into his storage, he lost count of how much he could store there.
"Thank you so much," Dalen laughed. With this, he didn't have to worry about anything.
