Volume 2 Chapter 58:
The return to the town was simple. It took the same time. As the carriage got closer,
"The Marquis has returned!"
"Young Master, we missed you!"
"Please come and buy some vegetables! We have a lot of new ones ready for you!"
"They missed you a lot, Kid." Michael laughed as he watched how the townspeople reacted when they returned. All of them were for Keith.
Keith stuck his head out,
"It's great to see you guys again!" Even though the capital was fun, it was nothing compared to the town. When they entered the estate, Carter and the maids greeted them,
"Welcome back, everyone."
"We're home!" Derek and Keith shouted.
"Were there any significant changes?" Willam asked. When he asked, Carter's expression turned strained. Everyone noticed it.
"What happened?" William questioned.
"Well, you see." Cater turned to Keith.
"Hmm?"
"Gus should be the one to explain it." Carter quickly pushed Gus to the front.
"What?! Don't pin this on me!"
"What happened?" It was Keith's turn to question.
Gus sighed, "I think you should see it before you ask this."
...
"What in the world happened here?!" Keith blinked a few times. The rest area was alright.
But the same couldn't be said about the oven. It got burnt to a crisp!
"What did you guys do?" Keith turned over to Gus and Carter. He was shocked beyond words.
"My bread!" Michael was on his knees in shock. That oven was the only source to make bread. And also,
"The cookies!" Sophia, May, and Fira screamed in horror. The same could be said about the cookies.
"You guys! How could you do this!" Michael stared at the knights. Gus had called them over as well. It seemed they had a part of this.
His eyes were that of a monster, wanting to smite them right now!
"Michael, calm down!"
"Let me go! Let me at them!"
"Cool it!"
"Chill!"
William, Keith, and Derek quickly held the muscle man back. This man was originally strong. But with the added madness of losing bread and the bloody intent to destroy them, it was deadly.
"Father! Grab Mother and May!" Keith realized another problem. Sophia and May might go crazy as well!
"No need to worry about them. They're way beyond that." William stated. There was no need to check up on them. That was because they were too in shock to go ballistic,
"Raghh!" The only thing they had to deal with was Michael.
...
"Let me get this straight. You guys wanted more bread. So you decided to stuff the oven full of it. And then you decided that more flames would make it bake faster."
"Yes."
"And because you guys added too much fire, it exploded. Am I correct?" Keith clutched his head as he asked.
"Yes." Gus nodded his head. That was the jist of it.
"Okay, there's nothing to worry about." Hearing the situation, it was only a simple mistake.
"How are you not mad?! The bread!" Michael was jumping up and down. Well, he tried to do it. William and the two quickly grabbed rope to tie him up.
"It's only an oven, and no one got hurt. Make sure not to do it again. There's a thing called patience." Keith shook his head.
"But the bread!" Keith took an apple and showed it into his mouth,
"Shut it." Bread was not important right now.
"We'll fix it up later." Keith sighed as he took something out of his storage.
"What are those, Young Master?"
"They're the souvenirs I brought for you all. Please take them." Keith handed the souvenirs to them.
"Young Master is the best!"
"I'm definitely going to boast about it to everyone!"
Keith smiled and turned to Sophia, "Mother, I'm going to go to the forest."
"..."
Oh, yeah. Keith turned to William, "Father, I'm going."
"Be careful out there." William nodded. He tapped his wife's shoulders, seeing if she was alive. She was still in shock about what had happened.
"Come on, Fira." Keith grabbed Fira. She was the same. It was time for them to go to the forest to greet everyone. When they got there,
"Hey, guys!" Keith raised his hand. And the Samuis quickly dashed over to him. They kept licking his face like no tomorrow!
"Aww! I missed you guys as well." Keith was all smiles as he hugged them.
"Hello, Shiro!" Keith waved his hand at the boss, continuing to be perched on that big rock.
"Bo," Shiro grunted and went back to sleep.
Keith shook his head. He was going to look at Miyuki. But his head instantly turned away.
I'm not going over there. Keith made the correct choice of not going to the scolding zone.
