-Mixolydian b6, Melodic Minor, Lydian Dominant

-3 licks utilizing tendency tones


1. Mixolydian b6

-5th mode of B melodic minor

-mixolydian scale with flattened 6th

-tonal characteristics, saddest major scale (rain on sunny day)


2. Melodic Minor

-Aeolian with raised 6th and 7th degrees

-tonal characteristics, spy music, james bond chord, film noir


3. Lydian Dominant

-4th mode of melodic minor, lydian with b7

-tonal characteristics, mischievous, playful, light hearted, quirky
