Let's be honest....RIFF LORDS rule the world 🌎

Lord James Hetfield, Tony Iommi, Randy Rhoads and many others built level 666 careers using RIFFS

YOU have a BIG interest in RIFFS, so I've decided to make a full course on the topic coming soon....

Grab the TAB below to learn my simple 3 step process

1. Pedal Tone

2. Melody

3. Chords

Step #1 is PEDAL TONES. Pedal tones are a repeating pitch or drone. This creates an ESSENTIAL reference to the root note of the key. I chose the low E string to chug on for my pedal tone

Step #2 is MELODY. Melody is a musical line we can follow. It's what the singer in a band sings. I chose a stepwise melody using the E Minor Scale (E-F#-G-A-B-C-D).

Step #3 is CHORDS. Chords provide context for the melody and make us FEEL something. I used the chords Em-D-C-B. This chord progression is known as the Andalusian Cadence

Now, it's time for you to try making your own riff. I PROMISE your creativity will reach a new level if you follow these steps exactly
