Do you think modern metal is influenced by classical music?

I've transcribed Fernando Carulli's Allegretto in A Minor below. 

This piece is perfect if you're a beginner to reading music and classical guitar. I find studying classical guitar makes me way more adept at metal playing...specifically in my fretting hand. Grabbing chord shapes and legato strength goes way up. 

Plus reading music is great for your brain and an 11/10 fun on the evil scale. Pay attention to the harmony so you can steal ideas for your own music too....muhahahaha 😈
