In this post you'll learn one of my favorite ways to play a m7b5 chord. Tapping through a string skipping sequence outlining a Bm7b5 chord. Try using this idea to create a Locrian Mode sound. I think I kinda stole this concept from Michael Romeo but shhhh, don't tell on me... 

I've also included the B Locrian 3 note per string scale pattern for you to learn.

I’ve googled this question and couldn’t find a good answer. What the difference between “outlining” and “arpeggiating” a chord?

they're both kinda the same thing...by "outlining" I just mean playing the harmony in different ways. Finger tapping, hybrid picking, sweeping...it could be anything as long as you follow the chords
