Chromatic Mediant Arpeggios

Chromatic Mediants are a great way to achieve a spooky metal sound. Also common in film scores and black metal. The idea is to play minor or major chords a third apart. For example, Cm and Em, or F# and A. It doesn't matter if there's a minor third or major third between the chords, as long as they're the same quality. The effect is very chromatic, scary, haunting, movie music. Whatever you want to call it. In this example I'm using all minor arpeggios.
