Contrary Motion Modal Exercise (Patreon)

Lord Bach was well known for his use of Contrary Motion in his Fugues. It's an instant epic sounding compositional tool for song writers. So what is contrary motion? It's just two voices moving in opposite directions. For example, take a C major scale, C-D-E-F-G-A-B. One hand ascends the scale but the other hand descends the scale, 

Right Hand: C-D-E-F-G-A-B

Left Hand:    C-B-A-G-F-E-D

That's the basic idea. In the video below I'm using this idea to map out the G major modes. Use it however the hell you want though. Maybe it's perfect for one of your riffs...
