This neoclassical etude utilizes what I'm calling, "Double Pedal Point." Using both the G and D strings as pedals, or repeated notes, we'll cycle through a pleasing G minor chord progression. Classically inspired, I'm using a number of harmonic devices. Including the harmonic minor primary chords (Gm-Cm-D), some Aeolian modal harmony with the F major chord and also the Neapolitan chord at the end (Ab). The Neapolitan chord occurs a half step up from the root and is major.

Shred thanks for the concept. I turned it into triples. Ton of riff ideas variations when I changed it to D, and pedaled the D string and the low D string (in drop D tuning) and A string. Thanks for inspiring creativity.
