First up is Intervals. An interval is simply the distance between two notes. C-C# for instance, is a minor second. C-D is a major second. Scales, are simply a combination of intervals separating an octave. We'll be learning the major scale and the minor pentatonic scale. Next is Chords. Chords are a combination of intervals. Major chords include the 1st, 3rd and 5th. Minor chords have a 1st, b3 and 5th. Key signatures is an important concept for every musician to learn. Key signatures tell you what notes are in what keys. Kinda like a musical road map. Very helpful for crushing those killer solos. Modes are just scales. Each containing a unique sound.
