I'm taking the PC to tech support later today. If my cooler really is dead, which one do you guys recommend me to buy? Also, my PC's PSU is a Corsair CX650, 650W, 80. Is it good enough? Or will it also give me problems? Thank you so much!

Iv got a Cosair H100i for for 5950x. What room in your case do you have for a double fan radiator?

Psu depends on graphics card. If you're running something beefy like the high end 30/40 series from nvidia you might want to look into a bigger one. As for cooler I've found the arctic liquid freezer II series is really good performance wise

You should have enough headroom for your current setup to be fine with current psu.

You’re probably fine with the psu. I second the artic liquid freezer II recommendation

This is why I'm so supportive of artists and creators of TG fiction, the vast amount of money used for our entertainment is mind blowing, so sorry Melissa that you're having technical issues once again, my heart goes out to you, it's wonderful to see you have so much support from Patrons though 🙏💕

Good luck with the tech and have a nice (may be even tech free) weekend 😊

Get an air cooler of decent size. Theres no pump that can fail on you. BeQuiets "Dark Rock 4" i.e. should be plenty. Or if you wanna go overkill, get the Noctua NH-D15.

Samus

The 5900x is not particularly difficult to cool but with your rendering applications I would suggest and 240mm water cooler

i'd suggest EKWB so you can part out your own water cooling loop. that way the next time you upgrade you can keep 90% what you buy. they have some all-in-one solutions as well. Downside is that it will be more expensive than an a cooler from say asus or corsair. They also make GPU water blocks so you can add water cooling to that

When it comes to the powersuply, you can search (power supply picker) and you will get websites such as neweggs powersuply calculator etc will come up. I don't know the full wattage/components but it said suggested 600-699 when i picked some of your parts. So should mostly be good, They usually give some headroom to work with so shouldnt be an issue. (Cooler : Most 240mm AIO's should work, just check for reviews or watch tech channels on youtube for which one is best performance for the money, alternatively a tower cooler like noctuas, though there might be clearing issues with ram/gpu etc. depending on motherboard/ram/what cooler you choose)

News, Melissa? Is everything up and running now?
