It's S&F Extra time! So here's your regular monthly dose behind-the-scenes features and bonus art.

In the gallery above, you'll find the full sized images of each piece, as well as some timelapse making-of GIFs! And down here, I'll provide some info about each one and links to the full timelapse videos.

Barbie Jess and Ken Dev
I drew this piece on paper, but I coloured it digitally in Procreate! This is the first time I've ever used that particular combo of methods, but it really worked for me. I like inking on paper, and I like colouring on an iPad! You can view the full timelapse video of the colouring process here.

Spider Dogs
I got two different Spider-Man-themed dog portrait requests from two different people! So I took the opportunity to play around with two different approaches to webbing backgrounds. Thwip!

Fidgital "Uncensored"
So, uh... about this. For a recent comic punchline, I wanted to have an image of Fidgital McDigits with multiple weird looking mosaic-censored mystery phalluses. And, well... the easiest way to achieve this visual was to actually draw them and run the mosaic filter on them.

Of course, the goal was for them to look alien and confusing even in censored form, because that makes it funnier! So rather than draw actual robo dongs, I drew Fidgital with a weird assortment of vaguely phallic attachments. If you're curious to see what I actually drew, you can see the 'uncensored' version in the gallery above! It is simultaneously not disturbing, and yet also maybe very disturbing?

Game Dogs
Moving away from that unwholesome nonsense, here's another pair of pet portraits! These two are both gaming themed... Auron from FFX, and Zelda from BOTW/TOTK. Both of these costumes were, uh, quite challenging to adapt to fit on a dog! But I did my best, dang it.

Inktobers Past
As I mentioned in my previous post, I like to do a batch of ink drawings every year for "Inktober!" Some of them are always S&F characters in costumes, but I also like to do a few fan art pieces each year, too.

That means I'm looking for suggestions of pop culture characters you'd like to see me draw this year! Particularly if you think they'd look cool in black and white. I will probably only do a few this year, but I'm open to suggestion!

In the gallery above, I included an assortment of 28 of my fav past pieces from the last six years of Inktobering! Can you identify all these characters?

Thanks, everyone! 'til next time.
