Dev/Sam Skinny Dip and Dev/X/Y sketch (and January Pin-Up Vault link) (Patreon)

Here's this month's link to the Pin-Up Vault! I just added the 2nd of our two Secret Santa pieces, as well as a bonus unused comic sketch page from Steamy Suggestions. You can find 'em both in Recent Additions. 

Our second winning Secret Santa suggestion was "Dev and Sam skinny dipping"! This one was a medium-level-saucy request (as opposed to max-level saucy, haha) so I took the opportunity to do more of a cheeky pin-up. Or alternately, the opportunity to draw a butt. You decide. But either way, I think it'd pretty cute! I like pieces that imply a narrative and make you wonder what's going to happen next.

You guys submitted so many fun requests for the Secret Santa! I know I only promised to draw two, but for our next update I'm going to try drawing a few simpler sketches of some of the other ones... particularly ones that I've seen pop up a few times over various polls. You'll also see some of your suggestions show up as future full pieces or parts of comics, either because I really liked them or because they were just coincidentally similar to stuff I already had planned to draw!

There were also a couple of requests that were coincidentally similar to things I'd already drawn (or at least sketched) in the past, but hadn't shared here. The bonus "Steamy Suggestions Unused Sketch Page" is one of those! This was my original draft layout for Steamy Suggestions page 7... the final page of Dev's dream sequence about X and Y. As you can see, it's pretty much completely different from the final page, and centered around a totally different... uh... position. 

I actually thought this composition was really neat, and I liked how evocative the cropping is, so I was a little sorry to see it go. But ultimately I didn't think it was the right fit for Dev's dream sequence. That page in particular is meant to represent the first moment where Dev allows herself to daydream about both X and Y at the same time... and ultimately, it felt like Dev would imagine that happening in a way that felt more personal and that focused more on their faces coming together. (Which, I suppose, actually meant changing their "position" to something arguably even more improbably smutty than the draft one... but I think the abstract way it was presented kept it feeling like a sufficiently plausible Dev dream.)

Anyway! It's still a fun layout. Maybe I will be able to use it for something else someday! But either way, it's a bonus sketch for y'all to enjoy.
