It's S&F Extra time! Here's a look at some of the stuff I've been making lately.

Princesses Portrait
In the gallery above, you'll find a process GIF of me drawing this month's princess piece. Originally, it was just going to be a straightforward shot of the three characters in the three dresses, but I came up with the biker suit gag as I was drawing it and changed gears!

The Making of the Mirror Dimension
So, as I'm sure many of you already saw, I made this cute comic a couple of weeks ago:

And then a couple of days later, I posted an alternate version that reversed which parts were photos and which parts were drawings:

Well, fun fact: I came up with the idea for the alternate photo comic a mere three hours before I posted it. Which meant setting up a very impromptu photoshoot very quickly! I was honestly not even sure if it was something I could pull off, but I managed to make it work somehow.

In the timelapse GIF below, you can see what the original photos I took actually looked like, and the various edits I made to them to make it work:

Before taking the photos, I took down all the framed pictures that were hanging on that back wall and moved a couch so that it was out of the shot. I figured it would ultimately be faster than removing those things digitally!

But I did make plenty of digital edits. Lighting was altered, walls were digitally painted, and the red chair Dipper was sitting on was photoshopped out. I also tilted Dipper's head in panel four and photoshopped his ears into panel 3. And last but not least, I photoshopped out a sliver of my red boxer shorts that was kind of distracting, haha.

Pretty good for a late-night impulse project!

Anthro Zone
I went to a furry convention last month, which means lots of commissions of people's OCs! While I'm not a furry myself, I do love drawing animal characters, so I had a lot of fun with these.

This first dude here is actually the commissioner's Argonian character from Elder Scrolls! I always enjoy when I get asked to draw lizards... be they IRL pets or fantasy characters/critters... because the scale textures are fun to do with markers.

This next commissioner really wanted to see his fursona dressed up as Raiden... his favourite character from Genshin Impact. How could I say no to that? It's such an wild concept that I felt obligated to draw it completely seriously.

And finally, here's a cute pin-upy piece I did of a third commissioner's OC. I'm sure someone somewhere wishes I drew more hot furries, so here, this one is for you!

Honestly, sometimes it feels almost a shame that I'm NOT really into sexy furries personally? It feels like it combines my skills as a guy who has lots of experience drawing cartoony pin-ups, Sonic characters, and fur textures. Haha! But what can I say? When it comes to sexy art, I just really like humans. (And vampires, and shapeshifters, and elves, and...)

World's Collide
Since I've been doing all these cartoons about my dogs lately, I thought it would be fun to draw a piece where the "real" Sam and his dogs meet Sam and Baker from Sam and Fuzzy. There was no obvious S&F character to pair with Poppy, though, so Fuzzy had to reluctantly step in.

Below is a timelapse GIF of me drawing this piece! It was done 100% in Procreate.

Happy Birthday
And speaking of these doggos... here's a cart I drew recently for a family member's birthday. Dipper and Poppy probably could not be trusted with real balloons.

Sexxxica
Last but not least, here's a fun pin-up I drew of "Sexxxica"... Candice's ninja stereotype alter-ego from the early years of Sam and Fuzzy. With this piece, I was curious to experiment with using the rougher inking style of my recent comics in a pin-u piece, and thought they might pair well with the energy of a ninja character. (There is a nsfw version of this piece on the Saucy Hippo tier if you're into that sort of thing.)

Thanks, everyone! I'll be back soon with more goodies.

Part of me was hoping that your walls were that groovy by default
