This is a paint of my family cat "Maru".

He is shy good boy.

Sorry for the abruptness, but I want to write here what I am thinking.

Japanese TV and newspapers are bound by many interests, and the degree of freedom of the press is low by world standards.

Many people prefer entertainment and are insensitive to politics. The news is always about Shohei Otani.

On the other hand, daily services, food, and entertainment are cheap and plentiful, but they are based on excessive middlemen exploitation.

People value penalties and authority, and beat the weak with self-responsibility theory. Such mutual oppression leads to many suicides.

It is probably the result of education rather than national character. We have been taught to "read the air" and "memorize the answers.

I did not fit into this culture and instead had social anxiety disorder. I owe my current health to your support. Thanks to you, I will turn 33 this winter.

For the past 30 years, the economy has only gotten worse. I even considered it a natural phenomenon.

And lately, the government and the media seem to be fomenting a mood of war, and there has been a surge of divisiveness on social networking sites.

Is this a political issue? No, it's not. Unthinking hatred.

I find this "atmosphere" eerie. I feel that we are following the same foolish path as the last war. Totalitarianism.

I feel I have no choice but to continue with my life and my painting.

A "country" is an illusion. I love the things in front of me. What other justice is there?

But my heart is uneasy. That's why I wrote this.

I recently read "The Diary of Paul Klee". It contains a not-so-dramatic war story of a painter caught up in the war.

Although it was 100 years ago, I felt a sense of contemporariness.

Thanks for reading.

I did not realize at first the last painting is a painting. It is so realistical.
