On this edition of Backstage Pass, I'll be talking about...

The thumbnails for Chapter 6! Like with other thumbnail showcases, this one doesn't have much commentary.

These thumbs feature me typing out the dialogue/action in the last panel of each page, rather than writing it like I usually do! Because I'd hurt my hand when I was setting up my thumbnail layout, lmao. A huge gap between starting and finishing the thumbs on this chapter, because I got caught up in drawing Dielle's Wish shortly after I started the thumbs for this chapter! You may also notice that pages 4-7 here are missing descriptions, and that's because that dream sequence was added later on. Dream sequences are hard to hash out, so I just took them to their own canvas and experimented from there before porting them into the overall thumb layout. An eagle-eyed reader might also see that my layout here once again has an overall change where the safety border for pages is added with a slightly darker border. It was a lot easier to manage than what I was trying in Chapter 4 and 5 lol
