October 2022 - August 2023 Postcards Shipped! (Patreon)

It's finally time for another postcard dump for Bronze Rank+ patrons! I was hoping to send out Secret Rank goodies with this dump, but unfortunately my postal carrier is allergic to actually delivering mail to my house (including said goodies that I ordered), which means I'll have to find time outside of work to get to the post office during business hours to pick up those packages. New Secret Rank patrons will be notified of their status soon (along with a request for mailing address), and Secret Rank extras should be shipped out with next month's postcards!

If you have postcards on the way and they get lost, damaged, etc. let me know and I'd be happy to send new ones! Postcards are only shipped to patrons with a valid mailing address. If you don't have an address listed but are eligible for postcards from this or previous rounds, be sure to update your info and send me a message.

And now, some notes for each postcard!

October 2022 - The team's gijinkas dressed as their Miitopia counterparts! I recently picked the game back up again after a long hiatus, and it's so fun watching my blorbos interact.

November 2022 - The cover for book one, but without the text!

December 2022 - This one is actually a piece I did in traditional media with acrylic paint! I haven't painted traditionally in many, many years (I think like 8??) and it was fun revisiting the unique challenges it presented after so long. Huge props to folks who do traditional work all the time!

January 2023 - A companion piece to that realistic Malachi I did a while back :)

February 2023 - A piece inspired by the Sanrio art style! I always loved Hello Kitty when I was a kid, I always thought she was so cute hehe

March 2023 - The MHM poster, without the text!

April 2023 - This postcard has three variations that'll be sent out at random! What color will you get?

May 2023 - I injured my hand near the end of May, so this piece was done entirely with my non-dominant hand (the right) with a mouse! I relied a lot on auto-smoothing functions in my art program for this one, though the lightning is freehand without tool assist (and also made me realize that lightning can actually look really natural with a wobbly mouse)

June 2023 - The annual pride picture! My hand was still injured, so I hope you'll forgive the copy/pasted background of Malachite Falls.

July 2023 - Guest art done by my partner, King Pika! Both the July and August postcards were done by guest artists with the vague theme of "vacation", since I was taking a break from drawing and thought OBT's squad could also use some time off :) Pika took Inigo to the beach, where the loser parked his beach chair during low tide and didn't think about what would happen when the tide came back.

August 2023 - Guest art done by my friend, Nein! Pika and I finally got to meet them in person this month, and we had an absolute blast. Our yard is absolutely covered in blackberry bushes, and we've gone through several baskets worth of blackberries. They decided the team would also have fun vacationing at a blackberry patch!
