Nothing Gold Can Stay - Doodle Dump (Patreon)

Some doodles I've done for Nothing Gold Can Stay while I work on writing the first chapter! And I gotta say, I forgot how hard it is to conceptualize first chapters lmao?? Getting characters to interact in an organic way when they're only meeting for the first time is an absolute nightmare, I don't miss it. Anyway, meet our two main leads, tentatively named Dandi (our golden girl) and Phoebe (prickly antler mcgee)!

These doodles are arranged in reverse chronological order! So newer stuff is first, with slightly older stuff trailing behind it. Phoebe's been giving me a lot of grief with her design, but I think at least I've finally settled on a palette thanks to some good ol palette inspiration online. The jury's still out on my ability to handle her anatomy, but I'm (slowly) getting the hang of it.
