On this edition of Backstage Pass, I'll be talking about…

Current postcard progress! Because it’s been a while since I’ve given an update on these, huh?

So last y’all heard from me, the pandemic kind of blew up the local place I was printing postcards with, and was looking into either a new service or printing them at home. In the meantime, I will say I’ve let postcard designs fall to the wayside while working on more immediate rewards I could actually give out. But that doesn’t mean I stopped completely! Here’s a preview of what’s to come (or if you prefer the surprise, look away now!):

… And I also plan on making a pride themed postcard! And looking at this just made me realize I haven’t shipped postcards in… A year. Where does the time go??

The good news is, I have a shiny new printer on the way! Once I finish scheduling catchup for other rewards, postcards will be my next priority, followed by desktop/phone backgrounds. The downside? Postcards will be slightly downsized, going from 5x7 to 4x6. This is due to all stores near me just, not stocking 5x7 at any sort of reasonable price. But rather than continually combing around for good deals, I think I’ll take an inch shaved off each side for now! I’m actually getting a good enough deal on the paper currently that I may consider sending postcards to $5 patrons sometime in the future!
