On this edition of Backstage Pass, I'll be talking about…
Yohann’s concept art! This will be another gallery-based Backstage Pass since Yohann actually hasn’t changed much from conception to debut.

So let’s start at the very beginning! With Yohann’s first pass, where he had enough attitude here that I was able to find a basis for his character very quickly. He looked very judgemental, and I thought it’d be funny if a Psyduck of all pokemon species was judging your sense of fashion.

Since he was a ways out from showing up in the comic, there was a lot of down time between drawings.

And then, one last round of doodles before finalizing his debut. I gave the poor man his feet back.
